[REVIEW] THE FACE SHOP MIRACLE FINISH CC ULTRA MOIST CUSHION

Do take that note that I have COMBINATION SKIN type, oily T zone and dry U zone.
Product + Packaging:
The Face Shop Miracle Finish CC Ultra Moist Cushion (15g)
The packaging is love. It looks super luxurious and gorgeous and the sleek gold cover just makes the whole product better. Sadly tho, it doesn't come with a refill. The puff is really soft but I think it's almost the same as the rest of the puffs out there. The amount of cc cream is a lot. You don't have to press your puff until the end. Just lightly press it and you'll get enough cc cream to wear. Apparently this is one of the new Miracle Finish line cushions and it's claimed to be the most moisturizing cushion with glowy finish and anti-aging effect. Here's what it claims to do and to be:
- Coat skin with rich moisture - Contains flower extracts of calendula, rosemary and lavender for water full moisture.
- Radiant, "Glow Finish" - Cover fine lines for smooth skin and provides glowing skin
- Ultra low molecular weight hyaluronic acid
- Replenish skin with hyaluronic acid of greater absorption
- Hyaluronic acid, a moisture magnet within the skin
- Micro-collagen
Sun Protection:
SPF50 PA+++
Shade:
V201 Apricot Beige
Some people might be wondering why I actually went with this shade but trust me, it's not that bad. If I chose the V103, that'd be real bad. This shade was recommended by the seller herself to me. It has slightly pinkish orange-yellow base and I'm not complaining. I'm not really into too yellowish tone anyway since it'll make me look just about the same as when I'm not wearing any makeup on. I have a really yellow skin tone and I look really horrible without anything on and I'll show you that soon. If you have tanner skin tone then go for V203 for Natural Beige.
On my first time trying this, it lasted for about 4 to 5 hours without powder. The next time I tried it on with full makeup (with powder and primer), it lasted for the whole day. For oily skin type, I suggest for you to go with an oil control primer and powder because this is a super moisturizing type of cc cream. For dry skin type, you'll be fine with just touching up to be honest. I recently have more drier skin and that's what I usually do. I prefer to use this alone by itself after skincare. When it's necessary, I'll just open it up and touch up my face with it. It's more convenience somehow. Korean people prefer to touch up their makeup more after all. Take note on that.
Texture:
Just as it claims to be, very light weighted texture. However! If you start layering this up for coverage, it'll feel a little heavy by each layer. But I usually go for one since that'll be enough for me.
Coverage:
Medium to High. For me, it's pretty high and that's beyond my expectation. I was expecting this to be low coverage cushion but well, it's good enough for me to use it as daily-lazy makeup nowadays. It's easy to blend too. Then again, if you have severe blemishes or dark circles, you might need a concealer. Don't layer this thing up for more than 2 layers. Now, the most surprising part is here. It claims to cover your fine lines too and it does! Usually, my foundation will crease and sink into them but no, this won't. I sincerely praise you for this, TFS.
Finish:
Glowy finish. 100% glowy finish that lasts for the whole day, ladies and gents. It matches to exactly what I want and that's probably why I don't mind having to touch up sometimes. If you're not into this kind of foundation, then please stay away.
Skin type Recommendation:
Normal, dry to combination. For oily skin, maybe not. Unless you don't mind with finishing your makeup by adding another thick layer of powder. Seriously, guys.
I believe that's the end of my review for my first The Face Shop's cushion! I guess I'm not regretting my decision to purchase this at all. I'll give this 4/5 ratings. I took 1 out for not giving me free refill-- okay I'm half-joking. But anyway, I'm very satisfied that I've been using this for quick makeup a lot recently. I have problem in waking up for class almost everyday so-- yeap, that's it. I shall reveal my naked face here for the first time too as before I put on the foundation! Here's the results and thank you for reading, peaches! Have a nice day!
